Create Capital Improvement Plan Procedure
Facilities Committee Charge:
The Facilities Committee shall be responsible for the SELCO building and grounds including the creation of a capital improvements plan, policy review, and reviewing the insurance coverage plan.
Membership: The committee shall consist of up to four members and are appointed by the Board Chair.
Authority:
The committee presents recommendations to the full board on building improvements and recommend updates to the policies.
Meetings:
Meetings will be held at least twice a year, or more often as needed. The schedule for the fiscal year will be determined at the first meeting.
Responsibilities of the Facilities Committee:
Create and maintain a capital improvements plan for the SELCO building and grounds.
Consult with the Finance Committee on budget and financial issues related to the building and grounds.
Work with the Executive Director and Administrative staff on implementation of the building and grounds capital improvement plan.
Review the Vehicle Policy, Building Policy, and the Equipment Use Policy every 3 years.
