Strategic Planning Committee Charge:
The SELCO/SELS Board of Directors has the ultimate responsibility for organizational planning and creates a Strategic Planning Committee to assist with this endeavor. The Strategic Planning Committee will oversee the progress of the joint SELCO/SELS Strategic Plan, FY2023 – FY2025, and explore a vision of future regional library services.
The Strategic Planning Committee will:
Monitor the implementation of the Strategic Plan and report the progress of achieving the goals, objectives and strategies to the Board and the region
Recommend possible revisions to ensure a dynamic document throughout the life of this and subsequent plans
Assist in the analysis of strategic opportunities and challenges for the organization
In concert with appropriate groups, undertake a planning process every three-four years in compliance with State and Federal requirements
Create an evaluation tool for the Strategic Plan with the appropriate groups
